Ben Yennie
Founder

Ben Yennie is the founder and principal of Disrupt Entertainment. He has more than 15 years of experience in the film industry, principally working as a Producer, Producer’s rep, US Theatrical Distributor, and Sales Agent. Ben is also a consultant, author, and speaker.
Mutiny Pictures: In 2020, Ben founded Mutiny Pictures, which sold to Bayview Entertainment for 100x the initial startup investment in 2022. In that time, Mutiny Pictures signed 50 films, sold 2 to Redbox, 3 to Showtime, 2 to Starz, 7 to Wal-Mart (in-store), 3 to IFC/Shudder, and more, and released broadly on TVOD and AVOD.
Notable Films: Ben has had a significant role in the acquisition and distribution of more than 80 films, including Tim Travers and the Time Traveler’s Paradox, Equal Standard, I Am Lisa, and Skinamarink.
Books/Appearances: Among others, Ben has spoken at San Diego Comic Con, the University of Southern California, University of the Pacific. He has appeared on dozens of podcasts including Indie Film Hustle, Shoots Video, and the Lean Startups Podcast. Ben has been featured in Variety, The Wrap, and Deadline. Additionally, he has Written 3 books, most notably The Guerrilla Rep: American Film Market Distribution Success on No Budget as well as writing more than 200 blogs on The Guerrilla Rep Blog and other outlets.
